Yes!

Just been on an internet fast so I have not been able to update this blog with any new posts. A lot has been going on.

I decided to actually START using my Facebook account, I just turned 21 today, and I started my first day at the new job this week. As you can see, I'm a normal kid who just happens to be putting out something top of the line. It's crazy though being 21 because I left my family and state to work on this album in Seattle WA when I was 19. Honestly I feel very blessed, but also very ready to move on. I am still trusting God to move into my apartment with Normel (1 of a Kind), start online school, FINISH and RELEASE this album project, and finally start working on my real estate career goals.

God is amazing though. I've faced many challenges since coming back to Seattle, health wise and financially to name a few. Nevertheless God was there with me.

Thanks everyone for your support and prayer. You have no idea what the smallest encouragements do for us. Me and Normel have especially benefited from encouragements lately.

Till Next time, Stephy Jey

The Second Coming is going to be an amazing album.

Attacks

Hey y'all, it's Stephy Jey again. I know it seems like I run this blog, but the crew will be makin some posts. I wanted to post a video instead of typing this time, but I'll have a video up soon. This week I lost my job, I have no permanent place to live, and My debit card was used to purchase things I did not authorize. It's been crazy. We havn't seen any extra support coming from the blog yet either. Still trusting God though. We have been able to make progress with our project, however. Right now we were able to pay off one of the artists making an appearance. His identity is secret now, but he's incredible and you'll have to wait to see who! We also have no new songs to record and one final recording session to fix a few mistakes. Right now I'm seeking help from God not to worry that the negotiations and deals we have in the air for artwork and mixing, won't fall through because some of them we have had for almost a year. We just are waiting for the funds to be able to go forward with those phases. Right now we are looking for churches to work with who will be willing to support our ministry. So far Bread From Heaven in Kent WA is the first church to really believe in us enough to help us obtain some funds for this album project. Anyways, please keep us in prayer. I am turning 21 next month, 1 of a Kind (Normel) is 19, and Sway SKills (Fletcher) is 16. We are pretty much working on this on our own and need help any way it comes so prayer is much appreciated. After two years of intense work, we are nearing an end to our work and a release of what we've been working on. God is good, even though I feel pretty crappy, I'll still praise God. One love.

How could I forget?

Hey I just wanted to let everyone know that we are trying to meet our fund raising goal by The end of September 2009. I don't know how I forgot to put a date up for y'all.

I really want to encourage people who want to help, but are not in a position to contribute funds, to Help in the way YOU can. You could let others know about our blog via email, or maybe if you think we could minister at your church and let people know about our goals, and also Pray is key.

We are still in the process of getting a video up for you guys instead of a text post. Godbless!!

Oh yeah,Please feel free to call me at 206 786 3133 to talk about our vision or personally email me at TrueTalent@royal.net if you can't reach me by phone.

Please Read This First.

How Goes IT! This is Stephy Jey of Goddisciples. Thanks for stopping by, really.

Basically this is why we have this blog up:

First off I want to say that God is good and he has been encouraging us through people just like you.

We are working on our second group album The Second Coming and this one is FAR above and beyond everything we've ever done. That means it costs way more too. We had a sponsor, they told me to fly to Seattle to record with my group, I did, they backed out, we then felt cheated. They literally would not respond to any phone calls, emails, or any other attempts to reach them after a certain point. They never even told us they were backing out, they just disconnected and we haven't spoke since early 09. I have been away from my home for over a year when I planned to only be gone for a month. We REALLY need help. I have a job now, as does those in my group who are able to, and am working with my group to raise awareness of our need. We should have a video on the blog soon to let you all know what has been going on a little better.

Even though it's been rough, we have just finished recording our parts of the album. We have been blessed to have some really amazing and well known artist collaborate on this album and we have some major label and tour opportunities lined up for this album. Above all of that we really want to be able to bless our fans with a new album like they have been asking us for.

We are trying to raise $6,643 to cover our current expenses.
Right now we are excepting donations of any amount and we are also offering some album credits for those who feel compelled to give abundantly. WE ARE NOT I REPEAT ARE NOT SELLING CREDITS, we just feel we can at least give credit to people who help. This album will be available in thousands of stores across the country (by request), and also all the major digital retailers like itunes, napster, rhapsody, etc. There will be plenty of people to recognize any of YOU who become outstanding givers towards this project.

Here are some of the credits available for The Second Coming That will be on the actual album packaging:

(a) 1Co-Producer credit for any gift of $1,000 or the highest contribution.

(b) 2Executive Producer credits for any gift between $500-$999.

(c) 3 assistant producer
credits for any gift between $100-$499.

(d) Special Thanks for any gift between $50-$99. (space is limited and names will appear on a first come basis. All names may not fit)

ANYTHING WIll HELP!! If you cannot donate, please help by sending this blog to your email list. Please don't hesitate or be afraid to give. Proverbs 11:24 says "One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty." Thanks for taking the time to read this and I pray God blesses your life.

The Vision.

The Vision. It's so big. I've seen it in my mind, the picture somewhat fragmented. It's so big, it comes in pieces. I've seen thousands, even millions, affected by Truth, by Life. The Truth I speak of is not a word. Not a what, but a who. Christ in us, shown through the platforms that music provides for us, making change in our generation. I've seen a sea of people in front of us, needing what we have. I hear them calling, and I see God sending us. Our vision depicts the masses freed, liberated and us standing. Standing. Standing. You might say, why dare to think so large, and all I can say is that for us, it only makes sense. It only makes sense because we are different than the rest. We have a heart for the people which drives us to touch them with our words, with our melody, all as unto the Lord. I think that's why it's been hell for us. Over 2 years of working on our current project The Second Coming with more blood, sweat, and tears than our debut. The challenge, IMMENSE. The requirements, more than I've put into anything else in my life; ever. This is way more than music for us, this is calling. This is ministry, and also is many things which we do not understand yet. Right now we hold on to the words of promise which state "We will reap in due season if we don't faint". The Lord is our strength! He is the lifter up of our heads! With the tears of bitter-sweetness in my eyes as I write this I can say fully confident that he who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion. I have not seen the road fully in the vision God gave us, I have, however seen the end.
